At the feet of the Andes Mountains Indyis searching for any
trace of his friend, an American geologist. After an exciting
search he finds the deathly ill man in the small village of
a primitive Indian tribe.As the man lays dying he gives Indy
a strange amulet shaped like a feathered snake. The Amulet
was once the propriety of a Myan High Priest and is said to
grant its Wearer magical powers. Unfortunately the only thing
the amulet brings Indy is trouble as he is targeted by a hostile
tribe who wants the amulet back in their possession.

in one of his expeditions stuck with his plain in a huge storm
above the rainforests of Bolivia. Just before making an emergency
landing, he does a sensational discovery: a meteorite crater
covered with pure gold! To find the true proportions of his
discovery, he calls the help of archeologist and adventurer
Indiana Jones. Together they discover that they found the
legendarian gold treasure of El Dorado. But it is also known
that there is acurse on this gold .

Cool stuff and fun to read. Not the best Indy novel, but very
interresting.

parties are fighting for possession of the sword and only
Indy can save the continent from the disastrous consequences.

paradise becomes a flower covered hell and Indy's assignment
looks to be a suicide mission .

Not a must to have. Sometimes good, but mostly boring.
